Because of a long and varied career, I have worked with several Boards of trustees on important issues: change the mission of the school; save the school from going under; raise millions of dollars; improve reputation of the school, improve program and pedagogy and more. Therefore, working with Boards to ensure that they function well is most important.
I have led several strategic plan processes and feel confident in helping a school define its mission and plan for the short and long future of the school.
Working in schools from the 1967 to 2019 has put diversity, inclusion and change at the forefront. Helping women into workforce, including people of color in every possible capacity, understanding the needs of the LBGTQ community have all come during my tenure at schools. I believe in the intrinsic value of all humans, and work to make sure everyone belongs.
